A COASTAL/WESTERN CHIC DESTINATION WEDDING ON HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC
On a beautiful cool November day in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, Megan and Brandon exchanged vows in what can only be described as effortlessly western chic coastal style wedding. Their weekend destination celebration brought together their nearest and dearest for their beautiful celebration at St Francis by the Sea Catholic Church and then later at Port Royal Golf Club. It was stunning! When Meagan told me that she and Brandon had decided they wanted me to be their wedding photographer, I was over the moon! Words cannot describe how excited I am to share this beautiful and fun wedding with you all! Getting to play a part in Megan and Brandon's special day meant so much to me! I first got to know Megan when celebrating my brother and sister-in-law's wedding on the east coast only a couple years ago and the 2 of us just hit it off! I've only known Megan for only a short time, and having the honor of capturing HER wedding day meant oh so much to me! I think I about jumped out of my skin when she called me to come all the way to SOUTH CAROLINA to be her wedding photographer, ahhhhmazing! I was just ecstatic!
So my hubby was invited to come along as well and for the first time, I had help and a calm heart knowing he was going to be along-side me the whole time, so very grateful for him! I got to take my first destination wedding trip over to somewhere I've never been, South Carolina. And since I’ve never been farther south in the US than Virginia, it was such a great adventure, we planned and planned and packed and and hit the skies for a fun filled, what hardly felt like work, trip down south!
I was in awe of the beautiful green trees down south, our hotel room by the Sea in November when up in north Idaho we were just starting winter! Hilton Head Island, SC is so beautiful!!! Along with the beautiful wedding about to take place it was heavenly to be experiencing such an event that before now, I could only imagine having the opportunity to shoot!
Brandon and Megan had a beautiful ceremony and reception in Hilton Head Island with such amazing friends and family surrounding them! It was such a wonderful day, I hope you enjoy their images as much as I do. And leave a special note for the newlyweds too!
